People are being polite to each other...on Reddit today.

:/ Is everyone feeling sorry for the Tumblr refugees today?

Sorta abashed here. 

 

When tumblr loses all that NSFW content, it has been projected that 22% of their content is porn or porn related.

12,000,000 users...22%...2.64 million blogs gone.

Their admin didn't learn the lessons of Livejournal. They didn't see the writing on the wall. I'm still over there as doctorslippery. And I know that no one is listening to me here. Chances are that doctorslippery is going to have to start over somewhere else from scratch. I liked the image hosting capabilities of tumblr. Doubt I'm going to find someplace that has a similar ease of use, vis-a-vis image hosting. It made life easy. But it made me lazy too.

In the blogger, blogspot, and livejournal days, I wrote a lot more. Shared my thoughts online more easily. Blogger and blogspot, both labeled me as NSFW in a move that really pissed me off because I wasn't doing anything risque at all. And Livejournal fell out from underneath me. I was at home on tumblr for a good long time.

Maybe creatively, it was time to get my brain cells off their collective ass.

We'll see.

So...is there a ~dash like feature that would let me see other people's posts without necessarily being following them. A this just posted kinda thing.
